WHO WE ARE:  The Noyo Food Forest was founded in the fall of 2005 by a small group of motivated women who wanted to create lasting, positive change in the coastal community of Fort Bragg.  We are now a network of over 200 local citizens, including farmers, teachers, children, artists, chefs and many others who seek to “be the change we wish to see in the world.”

    Our project leaders include:

Susan Lightfoot, Executive Director
Siena MacFarland, Noyo Come-Unity Garden Coordinator
Matthew Tarnoff, Learning Garden Manager
Kim Morgan, Head Start Family Garden Project Coordinator
Filis Rose, Senior Kitchen Garden Coordinator
Tara Barnes, BEANS Program Coordinator
Carrie Gerard, Americorps VISTA Member

    Our Board of Directors includes:

Steve Lund, former FBUSD Superintendent
George Reinhardt, founder of the Noyo Headlands Unified Design Group
Marty Johnson, Fort Bragg Grange
Noyo Food Forest founders Katrina Aschenbrenner and Kimberly Morgan
